What makes you happy?

On Monday 16th January, The Church of London put out a free magazine across the big smoke to save us all from officially the most miserable day of the year (and yes they really are that nice!). They asked me to draw something that makes me happy, so I did... Clearly, dancing like a total penis, every day. It's the simple things.

Making an awesome jug!

Kapow! This is my first big scale painting on pottery - You can see the process from the first pencil sketches to the full paint works before the firing. I'll post up an image of the final jug soon! Oh and Happy 2012 people!

This is an uber pink 50x50cm acrylic on canvas painting for the Brighton based Fairytale Auction. Bidding has begun so hot foot it over to the Enter The Clutter Website for a chance to buy a lovely painting. The private view is on Saturday 4th at JAG Studios with the final auction taking place on the 8th June. All bids start at £50 with half the money going to The Argus Appeal so if you fancy doing something rad for charity AND owning some ace art then start bidding!

I was recently asked to come up with a new template design and hand rendered alphabet for some of Cow PR's presentations. They also wanted a few drop-in illustrations to accompany the text. Walker Books

It's been a while since I've posted any of my work up ....tut tut. Above is a poetry book written by children about the United Kingdom. I illustrated the cover and b/w drop-ins which was rather fun.

These are the latest from the Ancient Egypt inspired animation workshops. All the families gave really positive feedback and were all complete champs when it came to getting involved! Each animation was completed in just 2 hours! Ace work!

We'll have some more workshops coming up in June so I'll be sure to keep you posted.

The next workshop is this Sunday - 11th April. The AM group starts at 11am and the PM group starts at 2pm. It's FREE so remember to book or turn up on the off chance.

Shut Magazine's ART FAG

When the fine peeps over at Shut Magazine decided I had Art Fag status, at first I wasn't quite sure what to make of it. I'm still not quite sure what to make of it BUT I do know Shut is a rad magazine so defo go check em out. Um and if you can bring yourself to do so you can have a wee read through my Shut interview... I'm aware it's the size for mice but if you 66 on the different bits it will come up mega big.
